now dont get me wrong, i like my fz1 a lot.
its comfy,quick(ish) and the lack of a fairing usually keeps the speeds in the points rather than ban part of the scale.
and yet today i wished i was back on the r1.
out for a bimble in jacket and jeans(shoes not boots).
on an unspecified "track" absolutely flat out hanging on for dear life at 160+(on the very blurred clocks) along side a very loud f40 who gave me the thumbs up then changed down a gear and left me like i had stopped.
awesome
it also spat flames when he lifted off.
it made my afternoon.
i then rode like a saint for the rest of the day.
