its been done.
it was also decided it was a bad idea as it cracks the headstock welds due to vibration.
so unless they reinforce the headstock, tell them its a pretty temprimental project. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. 80hp? Not without a fair bit of work.
Something like 55-65hp at the crank I believe.
Plenty of bikes in that range with a single disc.
While having more power can mean using brakes more often, I'd say twin discs are more important when weight and top speed go up.
Never seen a road CR500 conversion that actually works well - seems pretty rare people are actually faster off-road with them as well, apart from for desert racing and the like.
