God damn I love bikes!

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/serenaur/IMG_5197copy.jpg

Mongoose ritual street for skateparks and dirt jumps.

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/serenaur/IMG_4764smaller.jpg

(Crap picture of) My Vario Kaktus RC for downhill and freeride stuff (has a shorter stem now).

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/serenaur/IMG_7973.jpg

Latest addition is an NS Society for XC and trail centre riding days and also the commute to work when it's sunny and I feel like I've eaten too many pies!

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/serenaur/IMG_0170copy.jpg

Also have this little trials bike for messing hopping around on.

I didn't pay anymore than £320 for any of those bikes Cool It's all about knowing people in the bike trade and having loads of bits generally lying around!

The Banshee is stock, wanna replace the leaky shock with a tartier one and get some better forks sometime, but that'll have to wait for when I have some money!
The mods to the Orange could be considered 'interesting', as it's used to pull a trailer, but that's it for modded push bikes...

Oh and I've also got a 26" mountain unicycle, but not technically a bike Smile.

That trailer is massive!!

I'm sure you modded a Carrera to take motorbike forks at some point a few years ago? Or did I dream it?

Oh yea, forgot about that... still got the frame and stuff around and may get around to finishing it after I move house and have some more space.
Was going to try and make a replica race bike from a mountain bike base. Had the forks on and had added an extra 40kg of weight to simulate what the swingarm and rear wheel would be like when added. Weighed 76kg or something overall with that; still managed to peddle up the pretty steep hill behind my house and on to a five mile test ride or so.
That was a pretty old Banshee - current one is an 08 model I got second hand.

some nice bikes there Thumbs Up

you can certainly spend alot of money on them.

I only paid £550 for mine, the bloke who lives opposite me has one called a Yeti ? i know for a fact it cost him near to 5k !

I upgraded the pedals on mine to some red dmr v8's as i didnt like the standard ones.

wouldnt mind some new forks at some point, i like the look of the new fox ones... !

I've just had to sell this (or one almost identical) to fund the new house move. Gutted.

The SPIN wheels are thermoplastic composite. Not quite carbon fibre, not quote fibre glass. They're super strong (originally designed for DH) and going well after ~15 years of use.

It's mainly an XC bike but gets used everywhere. Last outing was a sprint across central London.

I used to ride my bike for miles every day. Then got the motorbike and stopped using my mountain bike. Decided after about months to have a go on the mountain bike. I couldn't ride it anymore i was that used to the motorbike that the mountain bike felt tiny and crap.

I have a Rock Lobster Team Tig 853

I haven't got a pic of it but it looks like this.

https://cdn.mos.bikeradar.com/images/legacy/bikeradar/categories/cycling/bike/mountain/images/rock-lobster-tig-team-853-798-75.jpg

Mine is custom built so everything is different and been changed a million times. My tyres are fatter and the front forks are different. I might have to get back out on it soon. There aree some lush bikes on here more money than sense haha.

I'm loving ste's two mountain bikes welded together.

Ace idea.

I've got an unusual push bike very similar to this one.

https://www.hembrow.eu/personal/dscf2578.jpg

the seat is like a hammock, very comfy, although you are a bit low for safe road use in town really. ideal for canal towpaths though.

Its 3 miles of canal towpath to work, which makes it ideal Smile

I've got two mountain bikes in the loft, and I got one down the other day, as I'm thinking of doing a bit of offroading, as a mate has a more serious mountain bike and I might do a bit of offroading with him.

Its nothing special as far as I know, its a silverfox.
