.. the blue BMW on the M27 this morning, with blue panniers and a silver topbox, you are a tosser of the highest order. I'm sure a BMW rider wouldn't come in here anyway but it's worth it on the off chance.

For those who know it, heading East bound on the new 4 lane section, just past Rownhams, I was in the ouside lane of the two lanes that stay as the M27 doing about 65. I saw the BMW catching up behind but there was nowhere to go, traffic was heavy and the car in front was doing the same speed as I was.

So, quite what this arsehole thought he was achieving by forcing himself past me, with our mirrors about 6 inches apart, to sit in my braking space, then diving across 3 lanes and buggering off up the M3, I don't know.

Riding a BMW and wearing hi-viz does not make you a good rider, I assume you thought you were 'making progress', although as far as I'm concerned, the only thing you were making was an arse of yourself. I know not all BMW riders are the same but that type of riding does seem more prevalent amongst the BMW sect.

Rant over.

Cheers

Grim

His behaviour sounds like a symptom of having an incredibly small nob.

On a bike or in a car BMW drivers are generally wankers that never get laid and dont like pizza.

Sounds like a born again biker / big bike statistic. The problem with these types is they feel their age gives them experience, but of course this instance shows he has anything but. We can assume his age of course, because BMWs are piloted almost exclusively by over 30's (and probably over 40's) as the bikes are comfortable and pretty expensive. Arrogance of their abilities and stuck-upness in general seems to be a lot more common amongst BWM (and similar) riders. The hi-vis is a good idea though, gives us all a chance to see the idiot coming!

Wow, if they don't like pizza there is probably something seriously wrong with them.

I drive a BMW (car) - I'm probably one of the few BMW drivers out there who looks out for bikers.

And I love pizza. Wink

As far as cars go they aren't too bad IMO, cars driven by women drivers in their 20's or perhaps early 30's though are a hazard.

Not forgetting men in expensive suits called Ralph and Kenneth. Although the kind of BMW they drive tend to be quite effeminate anyways.

Could you not split lanes and make progress that way?

My initial thoughts were something like Luke's... though worryingly I did get done by some maxi-scooter the other day Confused Confused (he was turning right ahead in my defence, so he didn't need to have a re-entry point planned.)

Anyway, I see bikes passing close to and sticking them self infront of cars every day, yet bikers (myself included) always get arsey when people do it to them.

As I ma not going to feed the trolls, I will leave the replies to others.

As far as BMW drivers are concerned, they have all sold their BMW 3 series and bought and Audi A3. Every A3 I have seen has been driven by a total bell end.

Cheers

To be fair if someone did it to me I wouldnt really give a toss about it, only for the fact Id do the same thing if I want to go somewhere Ill go there I dont personally see the big deal.

I was happily plodding along at a steady 90mph in the fast lane on the A11 past Wymondham and up ahead I saw a er-5 and Im not sure what the other bike was but I was waiting for them to move over to the slow lane, they didnt so I did. Sailed past and took my spot in the overtaking lane.

I wonder if they went home and cried about it Rolling Eyes

We all know how much variation there is in people's interpretation of 6" Razz.

Oh and trying to claim saying 'End of' makes it true is just silly. End of. Wink
