guess the bike

I'm not after information as I already know what it is, I just thought it would be worth a laugh watching you guys have a go at guessing what it is

I've had it quite a few years now & I've finaly managed to get insurance on it

it's a Q plate, no body has this modle on their books, & it's had an engine change, that's three epic fails as far as insurers are concerned

the only other quote I managed to get in the last 6 years was £245 TPO with 6 years ncb i was 38 at the time, the only reason they would give for the high price was the bike being a high risk of theft & I live in a high theft risk area, & no matter how many times I tried to point out to them that I wasn't being covered for theft so I shouldnt be loaded for it they still wouldn't back down so I told em to stuff it

this year age 40 & only 1 year ncb it's £135 tpo

anyway back to the bike, here it is

the engine is a MZ, TS125 luxus, but the bike isn't, so keep guessing

Looked like a Villiers engine to me!

Best guess for the frame would be a BSA Tracker or possibly some Greaves.

Can't see a chain adjuster. How do you adjust the chain?

strag, no it's not a Bantam,

well spotted Truslack, that's an MT 500 headlamp protector, I had one hanging around & it seemed a shame to waste it

polarbear, no it's not a B50,

hmmmnz, your very warm there, it did have a fichelle & sachs 6c engine in it when I got it

so what bike is it?

kickstart, it's not a BSA tracker, or a greeves

the chain adjuster had me a bit stumped until I found it, the swinging arm pivot spindle has two ecsentric washers on it, you undo the big nut on the right to losen it, then turn the nut on the left to move the singarm backward & forward as required to adjust the chain then tighten the right nut & it's done

it's a lot quicker than any other method I've ever seen but the technique takes a bit of mastering

Its a BSA victor frame, with an MZ TS125 engine, the rear wheel has been flipped over as the MZ has its sprocket on the right side.

The front drum im not sure about.

temeluchus, not a BSA victor, the sprocket has always been on the right as it had a german engine in it to start with (sachs 6C)

the wheels both have REH conical hubs & are the origional items
