I was just messing around in Photoshop wondering what colour ZXR400 i wanted, and thought id post the pic:

https://www.loply.com/loply/kwakcolours.jpg

I like the bright lime green one, but the original/factory green looks too dull (top left)... Its between yellow and blue for me though.

Anybody know a technique for changing the color of the white without painting over it manually?

Hi

Personally I like them in either metallic blue or metallic maroon with a black frame.

All the best

Use the magic wand with a low tolerence or do it in quick mask mode.

then copy & paste your selection and add a colour overlay layer effect to it, reduce the transparency a little bit to allow the texture through

yeah swaffs i ended up cutting out the white bits, then hiding the green channel (to give it color), and then changing the hue on the colour to get the yellow/red/whatever.

Alternatively, you can do it by defining a section of the fairing with magnetic lasso, then either fill with a block of colour, or adjust the colour balance.

Very Happy Nice work!!!

Usually id like black or maybey blue.

But its got to be either the yellow/white one or the light green/white one.

Or maybey the combo yellow/green one you did...try adding dark blue wheels to that one, maybe...

Surprised the yellow one so damn nice!!! as it is Thumbs Up or, maybey with black wheels and frame Carbon fiber goodies; can, tankpad etc etc etc.
