Quick question really, I was pumping up the tyres, done the rear but when I got to the front my cheapo halfords pump broke so now the front is about half what it should be Will it be ok for a short 6/7mile ride in the morning? nothing major all 30 limit roads

probably be ok but don't you have a petrol station close by and just whack a 20p in? must be one in the space of 6/7 mile 30mph limit (residential) roads?

Get an air preassure guage and a foot pump or an electric air pump that fits a car cigarette lighter, that what I do

You should be ok but I wouldn't recommend it, few weeks back I rode to and from work and my bike handled like cack (6 miles each way) and found the front only had 9psi in it. If it can be avoided really you should try to as conering with a flat front is not fun in the slightest.

I rode by s4 with 9 PSI in the front tyre.

I rode to a party on a newly fitted set of tyre but the front valve was leaking. In the morning after the party the front rim was sitting on the floor. I borrowed a broken foot pump that managed to get me up to 9 psi before it blew up I then wobbled to a petrol station to fill it again.

Straight line OK, cornering can feel like you are almost on the rim.
Worst scenario is you might loose seal on a tubeless tyre, if it comes off rim you are stuck.
I have ridden a few miles to get home with front almost flat on one occasion (puncture late evening)
It was worst going downhill with more weight on it.

Well I did my journey, it wasn't too bad. The front did feel a bit 'squidgy', next i'll be off to Halfords over the weekend to get a new pump but not by bike though

My CB500 had a slow leak in the front, I'd see it 19PSI, 15PSI... when I pumped it back up to 31 (I think that's what it was meant to be) it was like a different bike! Maddening as I needed to pump air into it four times more often than fuel.

Rode my RS once with 4 psi in the rear tyre.

Had a leak in a puncture repair done by a Yamaha dealer.

Got to the edge of the tyre on the most gentle bend. Almost over the edge in fact.
