We all know it's chavvy in the UK dispite being expensive blah blah.
About a year ago a friend of mine was working in the main Burberry shop in Barcelona for a few months. If I had ever thought about buying anything from them I would have taken the thought back after her experience there.
Here is one example of what happened every now and then:
She was supposed to stand on the street to get people to come in, so she was wearing their super expensive dress and shoes. Combined cost of something like 2 grand. (special edition blah blah)
Spanish summers are hot. 8 hours on and off in the sun, and that dress and shoes must have smellt like shit.
End of the day: Pack it up, back on the shelf for sale!
The friend in question isn't the most hygienic of people... The thought of paying 2 grand for clothes that have been worn for at least one whole day in 30 degrees just pisses me off
And the shoes! Barefoot...
Something tells me Burberry won't be the only ones doing stuff like this. It's a disgrace considering the profit margins |

i doubt the uk stores do it much due to the fact:
a) the "model" would get mugged/raped
b) it rains too often
