Fawbish, Go away.. before you reply to this about me moaning Laughing

Just what is that about? I can see how it might be aimed at 'helping' people but it's bang out of line. Never has the phrase 'go catch come criminals' been more appropriate IMO.

That's true you're usually far to busy jumping up and down and foaming at the mouth with disgust after reading the latest work of knee jerk fiction in the Daily Fail Wink

He's spot on with the grandad comment though Laughing

Being moron enough to leave an unlocked car, it will make you think next time hopefully, at least they are trying to help dumb people and not fucking off with the kit.

Hm that's like when one of my kids left his bike outside around the corner, just on the pavement and buggered off to do something else. I sneakily went and took it indoors and then when he came back, I told him to get his bike in, which he couldn't find. After the shock/dissapointment of having his bike 'stolen', I revealed it's true fate, complete with a bollocking/lesson on looking after one's things etc... Twisted Evil

You can tell someone something and they take no notice, but when it actually happens to them, they soon perk up, although this matter should perhaps be something that you teach your kids, rather than have the police handle it? Nanny state and all that?

If they are stupid or careless enough to leave it unlocked then they deserve it to be stolen.

I left my new pushbike unlocked in town yesterday while I bought a lock for it. I was heading back fully expecting it to be gone. I gambled and got lucky, I won't be pushing my luck again so soon. Thumbs Up

st3v3 it is comments like this that I feel let you down.

Lowly peasant "Sir st3v3 oh master full one, this man caught his hand in a door and has bruised the ends of his fingers, how do we help him?"

st3v3 Evil or Very Mad "Off with his hands the careless numpty, how dare he suffer an act of misfortune without coming to the grizzliest of ends!"

Having been on both sides of the coin I hate the wankers that steal things, but the muppets that leave themselves open to it deserve it purely because it teaches them a lesson, which is a lesson well learnt and they won't be doing it again.
