I'm taking a look at the MZ RT 125 tomorrow, if it's not what I want, what do you think of the Yamaha TW125.
I've heard this bike can't handle it's top speed too well - 65mph

The MZ is a top bike but not many dealers around. Top speed is 80mph - can be modified as well, i.e. exhaust and CDI unit.
I'm going through an autharised dealer so should not have too many problems with getting parts when things go wrong????
(comes with a 2 year full factory warranty!)

I'm not getting an NSR etc. cause I always drop the bastards - i love doing tricks and that - doesnt always go my way though!

Thanks again for any advice

I'm not trying to 'rain on your parade' but 80mph from a 4 stroke 125 sounds high- you should maybe ask them about that, maybe the speedo is inaccurate, cos other similar bikes have quoted top speeds of 65 but can normally only manage 60.

I like the looks of the TW- it looks like a sand bike. All the magazines say that it has no 'go' though, I think its basically a town bike.

The MZ is said to be the fastest 4-stroke 125 ever, i read this review and they tested the bike against a 1.4 suzuki swift.
They commented on how good the performance was for a 125 4-stroke.

Its water cooled and the engine has been developed in the last 20yrs which is more than could be said for the honda and suzuki 125's.

Went to North London to look at it today, very impressive!

nice and chunky bike, pillion seat cover available, adjustable rear suspension, large speedo and rev counter - 12,000 red line.
chunky exhaust which can be modified if needed. + perfect riding position!
thoughs stunt bike head lights are available for the bike aswell.

The company stock all parts, ie, cluch, brakes, levers, etc. so should be no prob getting hold of parts!
