rebuilding suspension

Hi,
I have a Yamaha Diversion 600 Sad

and it's got such baggy suspension it's like riding a bloody marshmallow Embarassed

.
I can't afford to buy another bike so will having the suspension rebuilt help? I can afford a new shock and fork springs.
I'm not a slow rider by any means so might it make me a little quicker on the twisties too?
I don't want to throw money at it if it'll do jack poo, and yes i know it's a pants bike anyway Laughing

Yes it'll make you faster in the twisties.

I'd say that a new shock and a fork rebuild is probably your best bet. If it's still on the original shock it's probably not worth saving.

Big_Ham,
The rear shock is as about as much use as an out of date jelly......it's just there now to hold the bike off the rear wheel Laughing

I stuck some Hagons on the front and rear of my Superfour, refreshed things no end. Not bad if you're on a budget and I'm sure they'd cater for a Divvy.

Yep hagon do a rear shock for the divvy.... and the owners forums rate it!

Looks like its Hagons all round Very Happy

...i can get a shock, shock bushings and fork springs for £347.....just need to find somewhere to fit them Laughing
