Ok, just throwing this out there into BCF land..
Im changing the S4 soon, not sure what to go for but i have a few requirements -

Budget 4K max

Torquey-ish twin cylinder engine (ideally a v twin, but a parallel would do)

Not bothered if its faired or not, but must be fairly comfortable

And finally, it must have 'character'. Would rather it wasnt japanese too, but that limits the options...

Anyway, if you can think of anything a bit different and bizarre that fits the above please post up Thumbs Up
Cheers Smile

Forget the Jap, and go European as would love either of these:

Laverda 668

Moto Guzzi Breva

^ Probably above the 4k max so maybe a 1100 Sport Corsa.

i would love one of those 1100 sports (but you need to find the one with the black engine, that has the cosworth pistons and termi's as standard)

WTD; is that not the 1200 sport with the optional sport kit rather than a breva? and good call on the laverda i'd forgotten about 'em the 750's are dirt cheap too

I think it is a 1200.

When I was looking for a sub £1000 bike I saw a 668 for a grand BIN on eBay. The only nagging thing in my mind was it was SORN for 12 months. Kept looking and looking trying to justify the pruchase as they look stunning and are kitted out quite well as stock then I found the TRX.

to my memory the only issues with 'em is something to do with the oil filter and the problems with getting spares, but they are kitted out to the nines (particularly when compared to others of the same age)
