I've wanted a decent bike for ages, and even though many wouldn't consider this especially 'decent' it is certainly a few light years ahead of the not so mighty CG!

It has been owned by my mate since 1990, it's been kept in his garage all along and apart from a few scrapes to the fairing it's surprisingly tidy. It's had a new swing arm due to corrosion on the old one, rebuilt shock linkage, overhauled forks, new tyres, new bearings all round, new brakes, Goodridge hoses, a full strip, clean and touch up of any corrosion to the frame and sub frame and the valves checked and shimmed as required.

The motor is as quiet and tight as you'd like, and it feels generally as tight as a drum!

Nearest guess to the price gets a lovely dollop of karma for their efforts!!!

Should add, also got a fresh MOT and Tax as well...

Joe, bang on the money! I thought that was a proper bargain!

There were surprisingly few bargains around and virtually no trail bikes in anything like useable condition for the money. I originally only had £500 but stretched to get this so another couple of hundred to get a nice enduro just wasn't going to happen.

I'm happy though!
