i have just bought a piaggio nrg 50cc and the display keeps flashing even when turned off and keys taken out, bit worried my battery is going to be flat in morning

there are lots of number 8's and the temperature gauge and fuel gauge are showing maximum, the indicator lights also flash green too

sometimes when u turn the key i doesn't always register that it hasn't been turned off, try fiddling with the key a bit, if not then im not to sure best thing to do if no-one else can help on here is disconnect the battery, for the night and ask someone elsewhere but there is not really any reason for that, apart from a possible faulty wiring.

probably the best thing to do have you got warranty or guaranty with it? if so its the place you brought it from's problem. hope it works out OK. take care

overnight tonight disconnect the battery so no power can get to it, so that the battery does not go flat! otherwise you will have a problem tomorrow unless it has a kick-start. take care
