Just curious to how many times people get pulled on bikes Smile

I'll start, twice second for 'tailgating' a police car.
First time, they never told me' Confused

3 times this year.
12 times last year.

Moved from derby to bristol, methinks derbshire police dont like bikes. The best was being pulled over for wearing jeans.

1x on the off road bike ... just to check I was road legal.

Lost count in 16 years of driving but quick guestimate - 10-15 times.

Only once on two wheels so far - illegal plate Neutral

Me thinks that you must be doing something to draw attention to yourself. That is a hell of a lot more pulls than average. Very Happy

Once to check I was the actual owner of that bike and that I hadn't just nicked it. Mr. Green.

I was told when I first started riding on a 125 with L plates that I would be pulled over constantly because I would be more targeted by the police. But so far I've never been pulled over in my one and a half years of riding all over the south of England on above mentioned 125. I think I probably look like quite a "sensible" rider.

Loads when I used to ride 125's (MTX & 125lc) but hardly ever (touch wood) since I've been on 'big' bikes Confused

Best one was for doing a shoulder check - the copper said he thought I was checking too much = suspicious behaviour Rolling Eyes

1x Illegal exhaust fine.

Once in the van, got fined for not wearing a seatbelt.

5 in 2 years

4 on my sx50:
1 was skidding to a stop on a high street. I got pulled out on, but they didnt see that.

1 was because i was riding the 1st day on a geared bike, and they thought i nicked it.

1 was i was riding past their (pull over every bike sunday) operations.

And one was my wheel allignment wa out and an off duty bike cop pulled me and talked to me for a bout 5 minutes. Thumbs Up

And the latest time was on my Thumbs Up 125 for filtering too fast, and my L plate wasn't clearly displayed. (They just wanted to get out of the traffic.)

No points and not got stoped on the Hornet Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Yet Twisted Evil

I overtook them on a dual carriageway on my way back from uni. Cunt of a driver cut me up on a roundabout and my zx6r suffered badly from carb icing so i just wanted to get away from them tbh. Nowt but a slap on the wrist when they realised i was fully legal.

I did get the same old "I have a bike too", "i know what it's like" bollocks.

Never on a bike.

Used to get pulled on a weekly basis when I got my first car after passing my test. Modified Ford Fiesta; big bumpers, big wheels, small engine, you know the story. Rolling Eyes

Scudding about retails parks at all hours of the night and early morning.
Shocked

In retrospect I must have been a right fanny. Mr. Green

Not once in about 4 years of riding. I did get pulled on my bicycle when I was about 11 for riding on the pavement but that's been it.
