Where to get number plates?

HI all, i have got a crack in my number plate and would like to get a new one, only place i know of is halfords. but want to know is there anywhere that would sell slightly smaller one's

I want one smaller than a standered but not going to have the plod pulling me over

Anyone any ideas ?

Ebay, delivered for about a tenner. Cheaper than halfrauds, in whatever size you like and you don't need to take in the V5 etc

Have bought one from ebay fairly recently too but sure it is only a matter of time before they stop people selling them on there too.

ok going to get a number plate of e bay, just onto what size to get. 9 x 7 is legal i think but i want little smaller but dont want it to be a invitation to mr plod to pull me over, thinking 8x 6 or 7x 5

8x6 is your next nearest size to being legal without looking like you are taking the mickey. Watch out for some of the sellers on ebay, in my experience their quality can be crap.

I had one from 'numberplatelab' off ebay and it was rubbish quality wise, I also tried the much mentioned on here - Rory's plates - he designed me a show plate, sent me a proof email picture and I asked for a couple of minor alterations to be made. No amount of prompting got me another reply from him, so I binned him as a potential producer of it.

In the end I got one over the counter at a local graphics/number plate shop, who made me a show plate over the counter and this was only a couple of weeks ago too. Thumbs Up

ye, think my best bet is ebay as no shops like that round here to sell show plates. 8x7 it is then i think

I used to have a 6X4 and got pulled for a pastime.
The last 5 or 6 years i've had a 7X5 and never had a tug yet, but i've just bought a new bike and replaced the legal sized barn door plate with an 8X6 cos of all the talk about the old bill getting hot on them.
I have noticed more and more bikes now sticking to the legal sized plates. I think they look shit so i'll risk the £60 fine.
