1 year and 1 week ago is when I got insured and on the roads, altho I've only actually got about 6 months riding experience as my bike was off the road for most of the time. So technically I've not been riding long at all.

In total I've been riding since I was 4 when I got my first bike and been riding ever since - so 16 years now. But I've been on the road since March 2000 (4 years now) and I've done 80,000km's in that time.
