Helmet up to ?100

Hi guys.
I am new to biking. Just brought my sachs xtc, now i am completing my gear.

My girlfriend has came up with the idea of buying me a helmet for my birthday (soon, very soon Laughing

)

So we are looking for a safe helmet under £100 pounds.

New Caborg V2R can be brought on ebay for £99 (inc delivery)

Are there any other good budget helmets?

before you buy one off the internet go around dealers try some on to make sure its comfy and then look on the internet before you buy

I agree - correct fit is very important.
That said, I have a V2R and it's a good helmet

i had the caberg V2R.
its, not....good. got it for like £50 brand new of ebay.
it not comfortable, the padding inside its rubbish, the visor isnt smooth in the slightest when opening and closing, its pretty hard work to be honest.

be worth scrapping a few more pennies up and buying a nicer helmet.

but as said above, the best hemet is the one that fits Thumbs Up

go try some on.

yeah like you say, each to there own.
it was good for the price i paid, no doubt about it.
but my other helmet is so much nicer in comparison

i bought mine off ebay, purely as i wanted a flip front in white
its a shitty nitro one, but in all fairness a helmet is a helmet, if its safety approved..when i come off, its gonna save my noggin and have to buy a new one anyway Razz

mine was £37.99 delivered.. and has laster longer than my shoei..which got obliterated when some nonce pulled out infront of me..

choose a helmet that fits, is comfy, if possible wear it round the shop to get a long term feel for it

The LAZER LZ6 is very cheap but is 5 star rated for safety - easily found for less than £70 - Ebay has loads for a start Thumbs Up

Another vote for fit.
Go to a few shops and try them on.
If their opening gambit is "Lets see what will fit" then stay.
If they ask how much you want to spend then walk away.
If they say " How much is your head worth" then tell them to stick it up their arse Thumbs Up
