I`ve got my test tomorrow.I`m so fuckin nervous.Today I nearly killed myself because of a fucking fat cow and I lost all my confidence. Is the hazard perception thing hard?

Have you not done any mock tests then? If you haven't then yes, it can be a bit tough.

Get yourself down to WH Smith ASAP, buy the interactive DVD thingy, practice for the rest of the day, do your test then stick it on Ebay - you'll lose a fiver maybe but it'll be worth it.l

I did the multiple question choice and the hazard perception.I pass but I find it very weird and without any sense.Maybe the proper DSA one is harder

Mate calm down, it's only a theory test, you most probably will pass and if you don't you re-take it...this is only the first step and the simplest one, there's harder things to worry about like mod 1 and 2. You'll be fine Smile

Good luck with your theory- try not to be too nervous and relax!

Have a go at the free online ones, the multiple choice and hazard perception can both be found online for free. Or pick up the dvd thing for some last minute practice!

Just remember a hazard is something that makes you change speed or direction and the questions are generally just common sense Smile

Just remember, theres always another day to have another go.

Good luck!

Let us know how it goes Smile

Well I passed first time, but my friend failed twice' it all depends on how long you take doing it - I did mine quickly (15minutes for a 50minutes total) but I did alot of theory revision the entire week for the test.

one piece of advice, the hazard in all the clips is pretty obvious, and watch how many times you click, i clicked too many times on a clip and lost points, still passed though ( i did the same thing in the car, and motorbike theory!!!)

Stupidly i forgot about the hazard perception so only revised the multi choice up untill my test, i passed no worries. Just a tip for the hazard perception, click whenever you see ANYTHING that would mean that you need to take action or change direction blah blah, before the hazard perception theres a little clip that explains everything about when to click, like if you see something that could become a hazard but won't cause you to swerve.

apart from that just relax, you'll have plenty of time so just think about your answers.

Good luck m8

Sad You need to stay positive though, it wasnt like you messed everything up, and Im sure you did the actual stop right it was just the speed problem- which is something a lot of poeple have had problems with from what I have read.

Enjoy your holiday and good luck for the 23rd Thumbs Up Smile

i passed my mod 1 today after failing it last week - for exactly the same reason.. too slow on both the swerve and emergency stop.

nearly f**ked up the figure of 8 today of all things but turned it round and now very happy. mod 2 booked for next friday - can't wait !!

don't worry though mate... having done it once you will feel sooo much better on the circuit next time round.

postponed! gutted! the examiner had a nail in his back tyre that required attention and meant we couldn't go out. rebooked for monday but very annoying especially as i was feeling quite confident, lovely sunny day, great ride on the way to the test centre etc.
