Hmmm... Maybe her advice was the pack of cigarettes, or the spare PAYG phone, or a foil wrapped kitkat. I'd like to see the underseat compartments of some forum users come to think of it.

I always carry some change in both my bike jackets just in case I need some cash and a phone is a *must*. Good advice. .

Can't carry anything underseat though, it's already filled with an airbox and oil tank. .

torch stock tool kit alen keys socket wrench a fiver just incase electrical tape spare brake leaver random nuts and bolts and of course the all important deoderant!

i had a spare spark plug and battery in there at one point too dunno where they went

Mine underseat has 3 sets of allen keys, monkey wrench, mole grips, a few spanners and a butter knife. I used to have the tabs, lighter and a tenner under there. But ran out of tabs so smoked them and used the tenner to buy some more.
