To be worn all year round haven't really got a clue what to look for as have always worn a leather jacket. I've a budget of £100 - 200.

RST Rift.

Had mine for a year now. Used in all weathers.

Just take the lining out in the summer.

Quite waterproof as well.

Another Thumbs Up for Hein Gericke. I've had this jacket for a couple of years, wear it on the bike, down the pub, walking the dog etc etc.... in fact i live in the thing.
Its waterproof, warm in winter, and cool in summer with the lining out and vents open.

HG FTW

I got this last year, and it has kept me dry through even the worst rainstorms.

Targa Turbo

Removable liner, lots of good pockets and vents, good armour, did its job when I needed it to so replaced it with another one!

The weise climate and Spada Adventure Jackets are both worth a good mention. I have heard VERY good things about the weise drystar but have not reviewed one yet.

cheers

Another vote for Hein Gericke.

Option 1:
Walk into the shop, find one that fits, pay, walk out, wear jacket, ride bike.

Option 2:
Walk into shop, find one that almost fits, get them to order the correct size, pay, walk out, revisit shop when delivered, walk out, wear jacket, ride bike.

All good Thumbs Up
