Can't I get the guys at halfords to put it on for me?!?!

I tried taking them off my Konica Minolta rep wheels - were only coming off in tiny chunks - presumably had baked on over time.

Sand blasting got them off ready for powder coating okay mind.

Once it`s on it wont come off but it starts to look tacky after a while (close up) coz of stone chips etc.
I put mine on myself,it`s easy on a bigger wheel just take your time and buy the pre-cut sections instead of the tape.
If you want to get it off....use a hairdryer.

Rim tape looks gash in my opinion, neither looking sporty or cool. Its only one rung lower on the ladder of cheese than neons.

How many more threads do we need on this damn new bike?

If its done well and on certain bikes it does look nice Smile But it would put me off knowing the difficulties of getting it off again when it starts to get a bit tatty

Mine looks the bollocks. I found it easier to remove the wheels one at a time and apply that way. Mine have lasted really well so far, including 3 tyre changes.

the fluro yellow looks slightly cheesy on yours tbh....would`ve looked better/cooler if you`ve used white to contrast/blend with the bikes detailing.

Kid O, can you not just put something in your sig rather than start a new thread everyday to tell people about your new bike? Confused

Its easy as long as you have paddock stands. Thumbs Up

You put it into the plastic bit they give you and apply.

to remove it you need to warm it with a hairdryer and it comes off in one strip.

I'd usually agree...but felt that my CBR6 actually looked better with them.

Wouldn't find them anywhere near my other bikes though - I guess it depends on what they're going on.
