How do I get them onto solids anyone know? I have put some biscuits in water and mushed them, but they don't seem interested, however mum does. Confused

So If anyone has a few ideas, then please let me know. I took these pictures a few moments ago, when a few came out to play.

When our cat had kittens I think I just rang up a vet to get some advice, they were helpful and told us how to get them onto solid foods etc.

Sadly - I can't remember any of it!

Therefore, my advice is to either ring a vet, or google it. Very Happy

Surprised Surprised Surprised Surprised KITTAHS!

I'd love one, but I'd cuddle it to death Razz

I think cats will naturally go onto solid foods when ready, so long as the food is allways there they will eventually eat it. but untill them make sure mum gets plenty to eat and is generally spoiled to death Razz

You have to separate the kittens from their mother at around eight weeks old. At the same time give them some solid food, I think Whiskas do stuff for kittens. Feed it to them by hand and then they will get a taste for it.

Any sooner or later they will have 'phsycological problems' adjusting to their new surroundings.

We have two cats in the house, one who was left with its mother till 13 weeks and it is simply mad! It has a weight problem and doesn't like humans or the other cat for that matter!

Let me take a few to the post office in a week or two. I would imagine it would cost around £5 for Parcel post with insurance.

Would have to post special delivery, to make sure they get there next day.

This is just a joke btw.

See, now they look cute as buttons.

If I were allowed cats (yes I'm still a little 5 year old) it'd take one, but I'm afraid I'd die from the fur balls. I absolutely hate finding any type of animal hair in my bed and food. It's a pet hate.
