Kill The Lizard !

Hi,

My lizard is on his last legs after never recovering from its last owners inadequate care.

He/she should be about 2kg and 4 foot long.

He/she is actually 12 inches long and weighs less than a coke can full.

My brother last night wanted to treat him/her to a hammer to the head.

The lizards lower jaw is paralyzed along with its neoroligal issues.

Shall i kill it now presuming he/she is in discomfort and if so how, as i did not fancy the hammer method.

I could leave it to nature and put it in the garden, it will get colder and colder and die without having a hammer through its head.

It is a water monitor, i had always wanted one. They take a lot of caring for so as im going to be biking soon i shall just keep to having a dog and a snake.

What does anyone care or think please ?

Furthemore do you think i can afford to pay out hundreds of pounds in buying and housing my pets to then mistreat them.

Dont worry about the likes of me who know what their doing with housing and feeding reptiles.
