Quick one , will a car fail its MOT on a dent the size of a fist in the drivers side sill ? it will be covered by the side skirt (Standard one , not chav rubbish) if that makes any difference ...

Going to depend on what they can see when they get the car on the jacks and start prodding around underneath for rust in the parts.

^^ What he said. Depends on whether there are holes or it looks to be structural in any way. Dent on the outer side of the sill shouldnt matter on its own.

Lots of wheelspinning around a muddy field before dropping it off at the test station may help your cause if you can manage to fire up enough mud to cover the offending area! Smile
