Well that was a stupid thing to do...

So... there's a three bike police escort for an ambulance and one goes ahead to block off one of the lanes so that the ambulance doesn't have to slow down but gets hit by a blind driver in a yellow car...

I guess he didn't get off of his bike to divert the traffic because he wanted to go on his way quickly? but at the speed the ambulance was going he could easily have caught up. If he was standing at least he would have jumped out of the way in time.

When you ride the bike i can only concentrate on the road infront of you, when drive a car you can be on the phone, smoking crack, looking down for something you dropped, talk to your passanger, check why your baby is crying, read a book, ect.

When driving along at 70-80mph and you see something ahead, it is very hard to judge its speed.

At a distance, even if its stood still, it won't appear so. It would probably only register that it isn't moving when its to late and its far to late to brake and stop intime.

Fortunatley never been put in that position when driving the car.

Can't be bothered to watch it again but from what i remember a lorry and a car changed lanes. You don't think about things like that really, they may just be overtaking something slower.

Which yes would cause you to change lanes but even if your doing 70/80 and something else is doing 50, it still takes a bit for you to catch them from a distance.

Its hard to explain, you'll realise what its like when you start driving.

There maybe something behind it, the man/woman may of been wiping their arse, on the phone, doing makeup or something. Or it may of just been a case of lack of concentration. If you have been driving for ages on a boring motorway, you do loose concentration, get bored and start day dreaming.

Not all cops, no. I've had a few let me off for speeding. The majority though, I hate them. The way they talk down to you just because they have a badge and a stick. The way they pull you over for the sake of it, and worst of all the way they beat the shit out of people then get away with it.


Don't think I hate all cops, it's not true. But I have no idea whether or not he was a good cop, and the majority, like I said, aren't. Until you convince me that he isn't the kind of cop that beats up people, arrests people for the pettiest of shit and pulls you over for 5mph above the speed limit, I'll have to laugh.


To make matters worse, I got pulled today when I was on the back of my mates bike just because it didn't look right.

Is there not a better way of signalling a car to slow down? doesnt he have a flashing sign or something, as after watching it a few times, that driver does not see him until really late on, his reactions were quite good though, would have missed him if the police guy went forward.

On regards to police, i was helping them with an investigation recently , and what took me the most (they were C1D) is how childish they acted, it was a battle between the cops and the guy they wanted, how very unprofessional! To me at least the wrong type of people are attracted to the police, mostly little hitlers that want power as they were mocked or bullied at school, and they use this power whenever they can, like a police man hitting an older person with a baton for no reason. To get into the police you should have to have a psychology degree and have to have regular councilling, that would sort out a few problems wouldnt happen though, as the government needs pee brained thugs to kill the members of the public that have brains and to keep everyone under strict control
