Now I know you all will have seen or heard of at least one conspiracy theory.

So what do you think?
I have watched every edition of 'Loose Change' and I am one that believes most of the stuff that has been put across on them.

Myself I believe it was all to do with oil money and gold. There was gold stored under one of the world trade centre (I think it was number 7). I believe the towers were rigged with explosives but who set them off? The American goverment or Al-qaeda?
They did NOT fall because of the fire.

Some of the stuff in Loose Change is really stupid, then again, some of it makes sense.

I always liked the fact that one of the hi-jackers passports was found on a New York street. So on impact, his passport managed to escape from the burning inferno Yeah right.

This has been done to death on here, and it usually results in a 5 page long tirade against one or two from both the for and against party.

Myself, whilst certainly there are definitely flaws in some of the theories of conspiracy, to be cliched, if only a fraction of it is true then there is something very very wrong going on.

So yeah, it certainly wasn't a bunch of pissed off muslims, but it wasn't directly the fuckwit Bush either, as there is no way he is competent enough to pull something like this off. The puppet master is likely a collective of higher-ups that remain lurking in the shadows.

That's my theory anyway, I'm always a firm believer that the simplest explanation is probably the right one.

The buildings fell due to inadequacies in the the structure when subject to extreme heat from the jet-fuel and fire. I've watched a documentary on why the buildings fell, which all seemed to make sense to me

I find the trouble with conspiracy theorists is that they are usually completely incapable of accepeting any other version of events other than their own.

They are unfortunately a necessary evil though, as 1 out of 100 conspiracies will prove to be true, and while the rest of us dismiss them all (and are 99% right in doing so) it's the one time it is happening that the 1% will bring to light.

As far as 911 goes, I'm as open to it being a black flag operation (or at least someone in the Bush admin had an idea but deliberately failed to act to prevent it in order to secure more power) as much as it being nothing more than just a bunch of religious nutters hijacking a plane with a handful of odd coincidences that would occur in any major event.

Until Cheney, Rove and the rest of those evil sons of bitches are locked up for their crimes and cease to have access to power, I doubt we'll ever really know what happened anyway.

Thing that makes me laugh, is all the structural bullshit.

These towers would have been designed to withstand a plane hitting them, kinda comes with the build height incase one day one get's lost... and has it's wing ripped off

They are designed to withstand a degree of fire, cos it's a fook off building with no external staircase from't top and if the fire is 10th floor, you gotta whole lot'a people trapped up there.


If a plane hit's a building that high up, surely there's more chance of it knocking the tower over? And the tower would go down leaning as it was hit from one direction; not centrally in a demolition stylee scene.

There's the speculation the owners/managers took out terrorist insurance only a week or 3 before the 'crime' and then there's vids on Youtube clearly showing flashes in the lower floors that are worryingly similar to explosives strapped to girders and pillars.
