Can any one please help me out.
I'm having great trouble getting decent price insurance due to the fact that i have a criminal conviction that i have to declare.
Any one else having the same trouble? i wouldn't mind but i'm nearly 40 !!!

Welcome to the world of insurance, chances are you aren't going to get much cheaper and there aren't any "Criminal? Come get insured with us!" companies around.

Just keep ringing around and see what you turn up with. Thumbs Up.

Sorry Olliesdad, but if you have a criminal conviction that seriously affects the insurance prices then you need to see it as part of societies punishment.

I won't speculate on what conviction you have, however the ones I would expect to increase insurance would include: fraud, TWOC, criminal damage etc etc.

All of these directly affect insurance companies, and as such they want their money back.

A lot of convictions may not have direct links, however if compo is paid out then guess where that comes from.

Just need to grin and bear it until it is spent Thumbs Up
