Had my second off yesterday.

I was coming round a roundabout on my way home from college,I was nearly all the way round it when some tw4t in a Range Rover cut out from the last junction off the roundabout. I think what happened was he clipped my wheels pretty hard (seriously,he was that close),I came off and flew right over the top of the roundabout, landing on the other side of it facing the on-coming traffic Sick

The next thing I remember is waking up (I was unconscious from the force my head hit the road with) with a throbbing leg and hurting everywhere. I couldn't open my eyes and my right-hand glove had flown off, leaving the skin pretty minimal,to say the least. Woke up this morning in Intensive Care with head injuries, three broken ribs,a broken leg and pelvis injuries. I'm allowed home tomorrow night, though I feel so ill. I'm still waiting for the results of the X-rays and CT scans and stuff,if it's not so good I'll be in for a while. I have no idea what state my bike's in,probably pretty shite considering.

The tw4t in the Range Rover never stopped,he just drove off,but a lovely bloke on a Pan European stopped to help me,so the paramedic told me Smile Hope his Range Rover has several little reminders for him-he makes me sick.

Kirsty

Be glad to be here with your life. Smile.

I hope you recovery sharpish, make sure to keep your spirits up as much as possible and look forward to getting back on those bikes!

Hopefully some witnesses or CCTV caught the guy's number plate, get a friend or loved one to go around where the accident was asking anyone if they have CCTV that would see that area or saw the accident.

Hope you feel better soon. Karma.

damn that sucks

hit & run drivers are the lowest pond scum on the planet

we all make mistakes, that's what insurance is for, but some retards haven't even got the balls to stand up & say "oops my bad",
or even got the decency to check if you need assistance

I hope they catch the tosser & throw the book at them

get well soon Kirsty
