First ride in a month

Bike been non active due to punctures and holiday so it has been over a month since I rode.

good times.

I will put pics up when I have finished sorting the bike out for Friday.

People have said summer is over but me and biohazard went for a quick spin up the local roads and it was warm and sunny.

have you fair weather (pussy) bikers packed away for the year yet?

if i had the option i would pack up for the winter too, nothing clever or 'hard' about riding in snow lol. can be fun if it's a short trip but if there were a car in my life i know i would choose it.

Riding all seasons because I love it, if I didnt I would take the car but riding in winter makes you a better road rider and shit loads of fun, wet leaves next then heavey rain, cold, dark, windy, ice and snow arrrrr bring it on

I have to say that down here at the very bottom of England I only got a couple of days worth of snow, so I really can just ride all of the year around.

I actually feel like complaining about this though, as I'm sure riding in the snow is a lot more fun than people are making out just to try it once...

I've got a low powered P.O.S 125 for the shit weather and low enough dignity for the bus in the worst of the worst. I keep thinking I should get a car, but what fun would that be? At least if I take the bus I can get drunk before returning home.

I tend to find that the Bandit can be considered suicidal in ice and snow. The 125's fine for it, though, because I don't have to worry about going faster than the road conditions allow for. Unfortunately, the gearing on it is inclined more toward acceleration, so wheelspin is likely to become a frequent phenomenon come January/February time...
I have been known to take the train if the weather's truly gash, though...

Early Autumn is best time of year for riding when it's fine like now.
If I had time I'd be off for two weeks touring now.

I ride all year round.... not because i see myself as some sort of double hard 'real biker'.... but simply because i enjoy riding in all seasons. The engine note and race exhaust sounds handsome on crisp cold winter days.
The only time i wont ride is when salt has been put down and the roads are wet, as these conditions and Suzuki's dont really mix.

I think when the ice shows up I'll bolt the sidecar back on, just a shame it makes filtering almost impossible.

Great stuff.

I ride in all weathers. The ZXR750 and less so the VFR800 loved the snow last year.

A car might give the impression of safety but the roads are just as slippery and i'd rather be thrown free from a crashing vehicle hand trapped in a crushed steal can.

Not riding this winter, got a car for that!

It was fun on a 125, but horrible on a 600. I take pride in my bike being nice and shiny, and road salt and dropping it on ice and snow doesn't help with keeping it shiny!

Suppose i could have bought a 125 offroader with some good knobblies on it, instead of a car. Would certainly be fun in the snow
