Fork Gaitors

Since my bike is a work horse and I've blown a fork seal I considered (Sickpup Suggested Laughing

) Gaitors. The thing is, they all look shit.

Something like this doesn't belong on any bike made in the last 15/20 years. Are there any more modern looking gaitors?

I'll probably end up putting something like that on anyway for shear practicality

Check the size of your forks - I couldn't find any traditional ones to fit the zx9 Sad

You can get neoprene ones, but they have their own disadvantages and are designed for upside down forks really.

Oh and your pic is broken here.

Neo ones look the best, but ive heard as there like a kind of material that can absorb water it can indirectly cause issues if they hold the water making forks rust and pit?

Hmm the biggest I could find is 41mm the TDM is 43mm reckon they will fit?

If you've got any that fit 46mm forks, I'd definitely be interested.

Note that neoprene fork gaitors tend to not cover the full length (as they don't concertina, so would have some trouble moving with the forks.) They are more as a secondary dust/dirt seal, than to seriously protect the forks. Even with the USD ones, there's some worries with them trapping water.
