Hi guys,

I just took the restrictors out of my 99 R6 but it still feels underpowered, i was expecting it to at least pull me back a little at the higher revs but it doesnt? anyone have and ideas why?

Thanks

Maybe the fueling was adjusted for the restrictors and need resetting?

Simply a guess, I really have no idea. I guess you could get it on a dyno for about £30 and they will give you an idea.

Hi

Thought on the new R6 there was also a restrictor to prevent the EXUP valve opening.

All the best

Keith

i just did... nowhere did you say you removed metal washers.
the carbs have slide restrictors.

so hang on... you took the washers out... put it back together, then took it apart again to look for something you knew wasnt there?

fucking lol

first post, says i took the restrictors out and it still felt underpowered with them removed, so i came on here and you say theres more restrictors in there, so i took it apart again to look for this second set

back to school for reading lessons?

note how you dont specify which of the 2 you removed.

i can talk you through it step by step, i have a 5EB R6 too, and a restrictor kit on my desk, could photograph it so you know what your looking for.

im just not going to because your being a smartarse.

im not a smart arse, you started the bitchyness

you assumed yourself i was talking about the carb washers when you mentioned i should know what im looking for so you should have also assumed they were the ones i took out, you could of just said which set did you remove, there was no need for the sarcasm
