How can I tell if it is 2 stroke or 4 stroke? and how do I derestrict it?

Does it sound like a wet fart or a bee in a tin can?
It's there loads of smoke when you start it up?
Has it got a 2 stroke bottle.

If it sounds like a bee looks for a 2 stroke bottle it will probably be under the seat somewhere.

Its a a four stroke. I don't think they are restricted but someone might know better.

top speed so far is 28mph, (10mph uphill!!!) with 850 miles on clock, any ideas greatly appreciated. Smile

Don't take this as gospel but if its anything like the Boatain 50cc 4 strokes there is a chance that there may be a pink wire to the CDI that can be cut and some carb adjustments that will help.

Need photos really before I would be willing to say any more. You need one of the open battery compartment to see if it looks the same, it should be possible to see the pink wire if it exists. Also need photos of the top of the carb and the throttle cable.
