4t 125cc bike under ?1000

As above, i m lookin for a 4t 125cc bike for under 1K. I like the sportyer models such as R125, CBR and the Rieju, but all a bit overbudget. What can you suggest, as i REALLY dont want to end up with a SKYJET

I'm not after a new bike, but not a 15year old knacker either, and it has to be 4t. Sick of 2t breaking on me!

You'll find hundreds of these on ebay or anywhere if you are looking after the next couple of weeks! Really it's about choosing which bike you want first with this criteria?

I kno there will be lots on fleabay, but i'm not 100% whats 4t or 2t. Something like a YBF is looking likely, but what other 4t are there?

Or would it be better to do my DAS and get a bigger bike (i'm 24)

Main 4 stroke's I've been told were Hyosung, Sachs and Rieju, I'm pretty sure there's other bikes, you won't find many of them for under £1000, so best bet is to search google "Motorbikes for sale" and check all the sites there, it's what I'm doing.

Hyosung GT 125 R, Sachs XTC 125 and Rieju RS2 125 Matrix, are the main ones, I'm sure some others know of other 4 strokes.

Almost forgot haha Honda CBR 125 too

Well I'm ALWAYS going to recommend a Honda CG 125

I do recommend getting a 125 first though, even if it's just for months to a year at first because it's far easier to learn how to ride with something less powerful (something not powerfully enough to kill you the first time you make a mistake)l

The "recession" is your friend at the moment regarding this. Saw a rare bargain recently. 07 plate CBR125 in excellent condition for the princely sum of £795. I almost snapped it up myself, knowing you could sell it to some kid for twice that.

Id reccomend buying a used Honda CBR 125 or Hyosung GT125, not the fastest things on earth, but ideal for learning on and passing your test.

Been riding for a few months now on a 2t 125, so have a bit of experience, so i'm confident in doing my DAS. Just after the more sensable financial option, get a 4t125, or do DAS and get an older 4t 400/600.

The most sensible option is to do the das and get a 400/600. You can pretty much buy a big bike for the price of a 125 anyways.

Agree, do your DAS and get a bigger bike, I just bought a '91 cbr400 for £650, MOT an tax, everything's very cheap at the moment
