Ok nothing exciting, in fact to most of you this is probably not guna be worth reading, only been riding since february so very new

but anyway, today i got my knee down the first time on the zx6r , surfed a couple of roundabouts after to make sure it wasn't a fluke as well Razz

its really easy, not sure what i was doing wrong previously, but stuck my knee right out and back (think this may have been what i was doing wrong before) and gave it a bit more juice!

now to find some nice tight lefties to do the other side

I've always fancied trying to get my knee down, but will need something a bit more sport orientated. I've scraped my toes/pegs a few times but I fear a knee down will be closely followed by an arse down!

Fair play to ya tho!! Thumbs Up

WTF? Laughing

You mean a ZX6R or similar? Or do you ride a vitamin? A bomber even? B1 is the year, not the name.

Plenty of people say 'NC30' and while B1 isn't unique, most do take it to mean ZX6 (though it could be a ZX9 and no doubt loads of other bikes) and it does say more than just saying 'ZX6R' which is a pretty big range of bikes now.

Oh and while I'm cynical these days, I can remember the first time I ground-slider and felt I had to tell someone... suppose that's what parents of new-born kids feel like all the time Confused.

I was just in a grump because I woke up at 2am (and am still flippin' awake). Although I do like the idea of him riding a Kawasaki vitamin. B1 just means a Kwak to me. It was only because he's a newish rider that I guessed it was a zx6. Smile Anyway like I said it was just a grump. Laughing

If you put a little wheel on your knee you can be a trike plus you wont have to wear a lid, it will also help you with balance
