It's knocking on a bit and makes me nervous. Does this sound right for removal?

1. Remove lid from main alarm unit.
2. Remove internal battery link from PCB
3. Remove alarm inline fuse
4. Unplug PCB from alarm loom. Large connector only.

Got some tamper proof torx bits on order.

Had a go at just cutting it out at the joins, but the noise was unbearable.

Cheers

if you want to remove alarm completely then cut the alarm off near the control box and throw that in a bucket of water or give it a whack with a hammer that quietens the bugger Laughing

then re-join the 2 imob circuits at the loom.

cut off the connecting wires near the main loom.

then re-tape all exposed wires.

it's quite straight forward but see if you can expose all the wiring to be removed first so you can see any potencial problems with access etc .

when you re-join the 2 loom wires cut the alarm wires with a 2inch tail so the re-joining is easier Thumbs Up (id strongly recommend a soldered joint and shrink wrap sleeves for this)
