thanks mate, was originally looking for a rvf 400 but the prices are a bit rich so seen these, sat on one a d&k and loved the riding position and style

Apparantly the ones with the red cam covers have a different engine with Variable Valve Timing, it is ment to be a brilliant engine.

Indeed it is the variable valve model, which means it is also a import (same as most 400s). The import version is way better, not just the engine, has twin discs up front and a full stainless steel exhaust.

Like I said, I loved mine.
