hi there just noticed a wee oil leak on my front fork i have a gilera cougar is it a big job to replace them

no mate its piss easy

you need to get your front wheel off the ground, take the wheel off,undo your fork clamps and take them out.

take off the rubber dust seals and, using a large screwdriver prise the old seals out.

put the new seals in, you wont think they will fit but they will lol, and seat them with a piece of plastic tubing aka small diameter plastic drain pipe

replace rubber dust seals

job done

i would add you might want to check the current fluid in there, probably worth changing? may need a little top up

cheers can anyone tell me how much fluid i need to put in i have ordered new dust seals and oil seals if i take the wheel of etc where are the bolts to pull the fork legs out will i have to undo the nut on the top of the forks where u fill them to pull them off any help please i done fork seals on a honda xl 125 about 22 years ago but cant remember how it was done

usually bolts on top of forks have springs...so very powerful when coming off....im dreading doing my gs500..
manual should tell you how much to go in there..
