You know when you talk about something and its just waiting to happen...

Just yesterday me and my better half were talking how well I'm doing on my 'big' bike. One of the things we said was that I've never dropped it...

And this morning, came to work went to park it up, and next thing I know the bike is on the floor Rolling Eyes

Lucky there was no other bikes around otherwise it would be domino effect and THAT would be bad... Shocked

Also I couldn't pick it up on my own, so had to ask some random dude to give me a hand...

You mean Karma? Actually I don't think it's even that, "tempting fate" is probably the correct term.

I have a story along that lines, and this is no word of a lie, last week I was riding home and I was thinking to myself I think I'm becoming quite a good safe rider now, then about 20 seconds later a car pulled out in front of me and I was over the windscreen and onto the deck. Shocked Although it was 100% not my fault and I wasn't speeding, perhaps I should of anticipated things more I don't know.....I wish I'd never had that thought that's for sure. Confused

Nah, the end of clutch leaver snapped off, except for that fine... and its ER5 (Don't tell me its a light bike ! Wink )

Pretty much the same thing happened to me. Had owned my new shiny R125 about 6 months and bought an mcn simply to laugh at the guy in there who was long term testing one and dropped it. On the way to work the next morning and I get knocked off by some thick pedestrian Neutral
