Im gettin xbox live again while i heal up from my operation, bridging it through my pc, cant justify the £60 wireless connector.

What games are good for live? I already have gears of war 1 & 2 which i enjoy alot, i have left for dead aswell anymore guys?

Obviously call of duty 4 or 5 are brill online, pretty addictive though.

Grand theft auto can ammuse you for ages too online if you are bored!

PGR 4 is a pretty cool racing game online for cars and bikes Too.

Seriously, since i bought my xbox 2 years ago, these are the only games i ever bought, exept moto gp and SBK 08 of course, and these always keep me amused , i only really play them online too.

GTA4 is shit online but good in single player until you miss 1 flying rat, then you lose all motivation to continue.

Forza Motorsport 2 is great for single player and cheap. Not tried it on multiplayer as Microsoft can swivel if they think I'm paying to play games.

Prince of Persia is surprisingly addictive.

Gears of war 2, such an improvement on the last. whole heartedly reccomend that game, i think there may be a3rd comming out to!

H.A.W.X i think is good for a blast too, but can get a bit reppetative. and the new batman is also meant to be good, my friends rate it highly.

I have kept away from buying COD4, I understand it's just a form of crack that is best dispensed through an xbox.

GTA4 is good fun. You slog through all the missions, never once taking a break to just drive around the city and kill people. Upon completion, you won't want to drive aroundthe city and kill people. Take your time and enjoy it.
There is an expansion pack available for about 15 quid on xbox live, and another one to follow. They're missions/vehicles pack. The lost and the damned is good fun so far.

Need for speed undercover, fairly standard NFS fare. Good to pick up and do a few races from time to time.

Medal of honour airborne. I bought this because it was a cheap 1st person shooter, and it's good. Running around shooting, not much by way of tactics and you can upgrade your guns by being great. I prefer it to GoW2, which I found to be over in no time and have no comeback appeal whatsoever.

I haven't tried playing online yet, mostly because you have to pay for the subscription. Fuck that, I'll go out for a drive, like multiplayer Need For Speed with real force feedback.

For some cheap fun and one player ineterst you could try Rainbow Six Vegas 2, think I paid £10 delivered off play. For cheap games you could try 'Shoptto.net' they seem pretty good.

Try and get Batman 2nd hand if you can. Its a fantastic game but I was left feeling like once I knew the story there was no point going through it again. I played it for a weekend, completed it and had 80% of the riddle things done without too much bother. Shame really.

Bioshock is worth a go for single player too, cheap aswell. Ive been playing guitar hero this weekend and thats good single player fun too.

Theres loads of good ones now I think about it, halo 3?

very good game only stopped playing because people stopped playing it online. but for the price its worth buying.

forza 2 is the best racing game out.
cod 4 and gears 1 are the best for online.
alone in the dark is a very very good game, only single player. but seriously good game.

Get your 360 drive flashed which is essentially the same as chipping it to play backups. Then play every single game you could ever want to. I've got 90 games and still only play Fifa 09, Left 4 Dead and of course COD4.

Call of Duty is brilliant with a few friends in a party, can't beat it.

I wouldn't bother with an xbox unless I had it online, thats what makes it so successful.

forza 2 is my favourite for offline and online play, am getting really good at tuning now picked up dirt 2 last wednesday and i think its excellent, some brilliant cars on there (ken block impreza, mcrae sti grp n, escort mk2) and picked shift up today, like dirt 2, got it 2 days before official release shift is very good, but havent tried the online mode yet

COD is very very good, i really enjoyed it, but for some reason i cant find it
