Well as some of you may know from the post below by me that i am looking to get a r6, i went and test rode THE yellow r6 i wanted at my local dealer and wow what a bike, it was very very capable, very quick and very agile to ride, my god though when you get up the revs i nearly got ripped off the handle bars, now you lot may laugh but i rode a sv650s before this so sv isnt the best performing bike, not bad though might add. Have got a great deal with them to, should be getting a scorpion street extreme exhaust in price of bike, i have to wait till the 25th to see what my money allows but im almost sure i will get it. thanks all that helped out in previous post. im still buzzing now!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

When I test rode a new R6 it was all nice to ride blah blah, but I couldn't stop looking at the headlight assembly when viewed from the riding position. It just looked really weird... Too square I think. The whole nose section in fact. Looks retarded.

Picky I know, but if I'm shelling out £6k for a bike...

yeh i test rode a new r6 about a month ago and although a nice bike is an equired taste, i find it a good looking bike but is alot of money with my local dealer selling a brand spanker for 8399, more than i ever paid for a car let alone a bike!!

I'm sure you can get a 09 CBR600 for around £6.5 brand new. Also the R6 is due a major overhaul in 2011 so the depreciation would be massive if you held on to it for any time.

The value of the pound dropped massively and all we do is import everything. It's to be expected.
