...to buy my old 250 back. Unfortunately I have no money and am therefore sad. Crying or Very sad

If anyone fancies buying a piece of Mudskipper biking history Laughing , let me know and I can pass your details on to the guy who has it.

CB250RS for those who don't know, 'modified' in a silly and pleasing fashion by myself. Razz

I sold it with a fucked gearbox, he rebuilt the engine from that and a spare and did some welding to the frame.

Apart from that it's as I left it, he's looking for £350. Unsure how much T&T left but could find out if anyone's interested.

edit: Should probably give further info. Bike is in East Mids area, the RS is the twin port single version of the CB250, faster and lighter and tons more fun than the pooperdream. Manages motorways with effort, better for blatting round town though. Kickstart only so not for gays.

Got a fuel leak into the engine causing oil to spurt out of every orifice. Need to strip carbs and maybe fuel tap, replace whatever's knackered, then flush and refill oil. I have no time, no money and am struggling without a bike to work.

I know it sounds insane to swap a slabby for a CB, but needs must! Slabby is just garden clutter at the mo and CB is ready to roll.

aww that's bad shit, this kinda stuff only happens when your on your ass. If regular reliable transports what you need then there's not much point hanging onto something you don't have the means to repair, hope you get first dibs on the slabby once he's fixed that too Laughing .

Exactly, yeah I did wonder if maybe this time next year I might end up buying the slabby back off him with all the stuff done I didn't have time to do. Laughing

Damnit I missed when you first post, I'm in the market for a CB250 at the moment, and you know how much I love that bike Laughing

Sell it me when you finish with it (as long as you don't eat its gearbox again)

Oh and you need to whore it some more, there's not enough olive drab bikes in this thread Laughing

Starting a CB250 off kickstart doesn't make you not gay (though it makes you less gay than most people). Try a BIG single.

Anyone wanting olive drab paint, I'd reccomend Krylon, about £7 a can, covers a full bike in one can (or close to), dries in 15mins, no primer required, and sticks to ANYTHING.

https://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w215/impreza_2007/photo-60.jpg

That was done with Krylon (ignore the bits of yellow and purple left, I hadn't finished it.)

Kick that one wrong and it will break your leg
Laughing
