 |
|
Had a nightmare of a day. My test was to start at 8am, got lost trying to find the way to the kingston test centre (8mile journey from home) and finally managed to find it at 9am...
thinking "shit, they ain't gona let me in",
they said all was cool so asked for my documents... but like a numpty I forgot the counter part....so they said go home and get it.
Went all the way home grabbed it and came all the way back, did my test, passed with 49 out of 50 on Q'a and Hazard Perception 50 out of 75. So pretty chuffed, got my certificate.
So finally got home and for some reason I left my pocket open on the ride back and the certificate that I had for all of 20mins had dissapeared..."Bollocks?!"... at this point I was 1 hour late for work, so had to go all the way back to retrace my steps with no luck, went back to test centre and had a new one printed. Finally got to work 2 hours late and feeling a bit shattered.
I think it was god's turn to test my patience as well as my motorbike theory skills.
Only 2 more hurdles until I get my Fazer FZ6... cant wait ____________________ Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. |

One step closer, huh?
Good job on passing the test, but just out of curiousity, how did you manage to be late by 1 hour? I think I got there like 40minutes earlier just to make sure I'm not late
Oh and btw, you might want to update your sig as it's 17/09/2009 today and not 17/11/2009 .
When'll you do your module one by the way? |

Thanks for pointing out the sig, i'll sort that one out now. I left my house at 7:45 am test was for 8:15am... took me 30 min to get to Kingston, then 15 mins following a road which I thought was the right one looking for a river (my marker from google maps) then realised I must have gone the wrong way, 15 mins back, then I got stuck around a 1 way system a few times and asked about 20 people for directions but none of them knew, and the mojority looked at me as if I was a piece of shit, people don't seem to like/trust bikers. Got into the test for 9am when I realised I didn't have the counter part. So 55mins late!! ____________________ Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. |

Well done for passing! Especially after your rather stressful journey!!
Are you going to book module one soon? Or get some training in first? |

Well done for passing your theory
Save yourself stress next time and be there on time!
Even if you think MOD1 is easy, you know when you get there you will be nervous. |
