Parcelforce48 - will it come tomorrow?

A package that has been posted on a Thursday using PF48, can it show up on the Saturday?

It says 2working days on website (but doesn't stipulate what they consider working days M-F? M-S?) there is a surcharge for Sat delivery's (presumably the sender didn't pay extra for that) so they obviously send a truck round on Saturdays ....

So my question I guess is - do PF48 deliver non surcharge parcels on a Sat too or is it going to be Monday?


Oh and BTW it is not showing on the T&T system yet, so that is no help either!! Rolling Eyes

No, it will arrive on Monday. Saturday delivery is an extra with ParcelForce.

Bearing in mind it was posted on Thursday, how come it doesn't appear to be on T&T yet?

I'd expect it to show that it has been received - perhaps transited/in transit to a hub ... but nowt ...

Is that normal? .. is the postal strike carp having an impact on PF too?!!? Thinking

It should definitely show up on the T&T system by now.

I've been send them left, right and centre without them being affected by the RM strikes.

Yes but sometimes they are sent from a PO rather than parcelforce themselves collecting it or a depot.

Ah, that is w4nk, perhaps the sender typed the T&T number incorrectly?

Anyway the important thing is that its ETA is Monday, NOT tomorrow.

Hopefully come Monday morning the T&T will be activated. If it hasn't then it is either lost for ever or the wrong number!!! Very Happy

I've sent about 100 this week, none have been affected. I'm not saying it's not possible, just I haven't experienced any delays.
