How to remove threaded end bars?

My bike came with pink/red end bars which I'm trying to remove. Got the right end bar off easily enough, however the left won't come off, just continually turns so I guessing the screw is threaded. Any idea of how to remove it?
I thought about replacing the handle bar, but then I'm not sure how to remove the clutch lever/ indicator switches etc without getting this damn bar end off first.

Any help?

Hi

If these are cheap aftermarket ones than I would suspect that there is a bolt down the middle that goes through a lump of rubber and has a nut on the other side or bonded into the rubber. When you tighten it the nut compresses the rubber which expands sideways and jams against the inside of the bar.

If so then try pushing the bar end hard sideways which hopefully jams the rubber against the nut to stop it turning while you undo the bolt.

Sometimes an electric drill with a screwdriver bit works well simply due to the speed.

if it is the aftermarket rubber one, a bit of brute force should do the trick

In the end I managed to get it off with copious amounts of WD40, and wedging a screwdriver up the handlebar which managed to stop the damn thing spinning and with a lot of cursing it eventually unscrewed.
Bye bye pink metal bar ends.
