Am I just too old before my time??

Before you abuse me, let me explain that I love touring and my gf loves to get on the back.

so what's wrong with getting a nice big bike with hard luggage!?!

thank god someone is showing sympathy.

Well, don't want to put web pics etc up. When I get it, I'm doing a proper write up!

It's a big old boy with a big old engine. And it wouldn't be out of place in Scandinavia - no more clues!! Wink

So looking forward to it. After trying my uncle's Guzzi I just had to have one.

I've just bought a givi rack for the ZX12r - you can tour on anything.

Still, I actually really like the look of Guzzis, and was considering a V11 myself for a while.

Ido t think age comes into it, just buy and ride whatever makes YOU happy and sod what anyone else thinks. No doubt I'll get dome strange looks with a ZX12r complete with pillion cowl.....and 46 litre topbox, but I don't care

Well, you won't be getting those looks for long mate - twist that right hand and wave bye bye. It is a 12R after all.....
Wink

As for Guzzis, they really are the most addictive thing ever. Im not kidding. I just couldn't believe how I went from thinking "this feels weird" to "omg I must have one of these now!" in the space of 5 minutes.

For those of you who doubt me, try it!

I'm really envious! Are parts and service costs of Moto Guzzi expensive also in UK?

The VTR was evidence of that already Razz.

I've always quite liked the looks of the Guzzi's, but I suspect would be disappointed to ride one.
