Sorry i dont know where else to ask since I even considered posting this in yahoo answers but they are down at the mo and have goggled. Maybe someone can help.

I collect 60's and 70's stuff like plates with funky designs on them. I liked a bacchus one I got a while ago and wanted more so I found some in a different colour to add to the collection.

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=220477739374&Category=458&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D2

cheap , yes. But says they are marked but the ones she sent me have no markings on them at all? I have a set of these and they are marked to what she says so I have a real set which makes me think she sent me some fake set. (I would like to say she didnt know but she has stated they are marked.)
There is nothing wrote on these plates like she has stated in this auction! Confused wtf?
I have asked her but she hasnt answered where as she was quick when I was going to buy more than one bit from her.

ask her again, then file a paypal dispute saying the item was not as described. Then leave appropriate feedback.

Her answer:

hello again, sorry about that,, I will recheck all of my items as I have about 20 trios, all boxed up...I do know that none of the saucers ever are marked... but the cups and plates are usually, but not always, so I must have sent you some unmarked ones.. will send you another set on monday, with my best wishes.. hope this is ok with you.. regards Anne

She dosnt seem like a con or anything. And I assume this new set is free then?

and every piece is suppose to be marked not just select ones. I will wait and see this other set but seems a good enough deal to me sayint they where only cheap anyway.

It sucks agreed, but for that money I'm not sure it'd be worth my time in complaining! Laughing

well I collect so it is to me. I cant afford an expensive collecting. And it would bother me that it wasnt the real deal when its displayed with the rest of my tat.

You don't have to keep it.. either way is it really worth all the hassle for £2.99?

There's times I've bought the wrong thing or been sent the wrong thing or something that doesn't work and if it's that cheap I just wonder if its really worth the hassle, you'll have to pay to send it back too which will prob cost more than what you paid for it... and after all that, you won't get a "real" one out of the seller so you'll end up with nothing to show for the hassle.

She didnt ask for the other one back so I assume she dosnt want it as I cant be arsed to send it to be honest. And again it dosnt matter about the price I do collect these. Its no hassel to send her that email and sit and wait on another.

In 1850, Joel Houghton patented a wooden machine with a hand-turned wheel that splashed water on dishes, it was hardly a workable machine, but it was the first patent. In 1886, Josephine Cochran proclaims in disgust "If nobody else is going to invent a dishwashing machine, I'll do it myself." And she did, Josephine Cochran invented the first practical (did the job) dishwasher. Josephine Cochran had expected the public to welcome the new invention, which she unveiled at the 1893, World's Fair, but only the hotels and large restaurants were buying her ideas. It was not until the 1950s, that dishwashers caught on with the general public. Josephine Cochran's machine was a hand-operated mechanical dishwasher. She founded a company to manufacture these dish washers, which eventually became KitchenAid.
