HA HA! Awesome!!!

It's just superb! The bars are a bit of a reach, but the motor is just sooo strong and smooth. It pulls like nothing I've known right from the off and at 80 on the motorway it just feels like it's not even trying. Que a smidge more throttle and an almost instant 120!

It still feels a bit heavy in the corners, but that's probably just me not being very good. After 50 very mixed miles of heave traffic, long bends and empty motorways, it feels better already. I've never ridden a bike and felt so right so soon before, I think its love...

Went out to Rivi Barn earlier. I just can't believe how competent the bike is, even after 20 years. It's just a joy. Even had a few old timers giving it a look over admiringly!

So, do I have BCF bargain of the year award then? Looking back, I should have kept schtum about how little I paid, I may want to sell it on eventually and I think I'd have easily got a grand had I not banged on about it so much!

Lowton, just the other side of Leigh. My route takes me through Leigh, Westhoughton, and then either Horwich or the long way through the back of Bolton to Belmont. That's a beautiful road when buses aren't keeping the traffic at 25mph like today!!

That'd be a good ride, I used to drive a bus over the hills between Standish and Blackrod. Found myself getting carried away more than a few times, much to the bemusement of little old Mildred out to get her shopping!
