Hi, I am taking my test next week and if I pass (fingers crossed) I am looking to buy a enduro/trial/dual sport (not really sure what it should be called) bike. I would be on the restricted 33bhp licence. I currently have a Honda XR 125 L and I really like it, it is just a bit lacking on larger roads.

So could anyone recommend a similar type of bike which could preferably be capapble of about 70mph not flat out. I am planning on selling my bike if I pass so money avaliable will depend heavily on what I can get for that but I have a bit to add on top. Hopefully will have about £1300 to spend overall. Age etc doesn't really bother me as long as it runs ok. Oh and would really like it to be a 4-stroke.

Thanks

Picked up a DR350 the other week, makes about 30bhp I think. Will do 70 no problem and is great fun to ride Laughing You can get the newer models (with electric start) for around a grand. Best of luck on your test!
Here's mine with rgv wheels instead of the knobblys.

Already on mate, there are some guides on the net if you're looking to do it to yours.
