Why would you want one? seems like it will just draw more police attention and if caught using it a fine. is it really worth it

Much bigger fine perverting the course of justice than a speeding one and much easier to get caught with one fitted. As said not worth it, better and cheaper to improve your observation skills.

As said above, cheaper and easier to just remove your reg plate, then you don't get done for peverting the course of justice.

The only way they could do you for perverting would be if they actually catch you flipping the plate.

TBH most people that get caught in the camera's will only notice the flash... To late then, or its a van at the side of the road. Again too late to flip.

So riding with it flipped up all the time is really going to draw attention to you..... Get stopped then and they spot the plate, as they will... And boy bend over Sick

Pesonally i agree with Finglonga.

Why waste £150.......

For the van at the side of the road - if you're oncoming, flipping it as you go past may save you from a ticket.
However there's a very low incidence of people getting done on bikes by vans they're speeding towards from what I've seen (they can take the reg plate down as you go past if they so desire.)
